Market Blog

The Turkeys Are Coming

This Saturday, November 19th, is the last “outside” farmers’ market of the year. The market will be set up in the usual place, on North Main Street, from 9:00 AM-12:30 PM. We have 30 vendors who have signed up to be there, plus a new vendor with 50 fresh turkeys. There will be a wide variety of food and products available for this special event.  Furthermore, the turkey vendor will be bringing a live turkey for the kids (and the kid in all of us) to see. Be sure to come to the market with a shopping list for your Thanksgiving meal before you go to the grocery.

Granger Street, from 9:30 AM-12:00 PM.

The Tuesday market ended a couple of weeks ago (thank you for Ross’ Market for their help and dedication to the market) and now next Saturday, October 22nd, is the last market for the North Main Street location. However, it won’t be long until we are organizing next year’s market. In fact, . . .

TEMPORARY MOVE FOR MARKET

If you have not heard, the Farmer’s Market will be located at St. Edwards on Saturday, September 10th, due to the Blues Festival meeting in the downtown area that weekend. This is only a one week change and the Farmer’s Market will resume meeting on North Main Street the following Saturday.
